Our client is a leading international development company providing technical assistance services in economic, social and environmental development, mainly in international markets.


  • Analyse Tender Documents and Terms of References for new projects, in a wide variety of sectors;
  • Assess profiles and CVs of consultants to mobilize suitable candidates for each project;
  • Prepare technical and financial offers;
  • Maintain and strengthen the network of partners, consultants and international funding agencies;
  • Contribute to the renewal and expansion of the overall FWC that company is involved in.


  • University degree in economics, management, international relations, engineering or related field;
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant professional experience, in line with the responsibilities for this post, notably in preparing projects/proposals for tenders funded by international organisations;
  • Specific training in international cooperation and development, including Project Management and LogFrame;
  • Specific professional interest and/or previous experience in the areas of Private Sector Development, Trade, International Policy, Employment promotion and/or Education in the context of international development;
  • Specific professional experience in preparing service tender for EU funded international cooperation and development projects;
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills and attention to details while preparing written documents;
  • Resilient and prepared to work in a competitive international environment;
  • Strong communication skills, both in English and Portuguese. For non-Portuguese natives, intermediate knowledge of the Portuguese language will be considered adequate;
  • Good command of French and/or Spanish;
  • Good computer skills – especially advanced command of MS-Word® and MS-Excel®;
  • Motivated with the possibility of joining a leading international development consultancy company.

Location: Office in Lisbon. It is not anticipated the need for international travel.
